# How to install the Vynix widget on any website

Vynix installs on any website with a single script tag. This guide walks through adding it, confirming it loads, and rolling it out to your team.

-   Sign in to Vynix and open the project for the site you want feedback on.
-   Copy the script tag from the install screen. It is one line and includes your project key.
-   Paste the script tag into your site HTML, just before the closing body tag, so it loads on every page.
-   If you use a framework like Next.js, React or Vue, add the script to your root layout or index template so it is present on every route.
-   Deploy the change, open your site, and look for the Vynix toolbar in the corner of the page.
-   Invite your teammates or clients so they can start leaving feedback.

The widget is a lightweight script that loads asynchronously, so it does not block your page from rendering. It only becomes active when someone opens the toolbar to leave a note, which keeps the effect on page speed small.

You can add the same script tag to a staging site and a production site. Many teams install it on staging first to collect feedback during review, then keep it on production for ongoing bug reports. If your site uses a content security policy, you may need to allow the Vynix script and its connection. The install screen lists the exact values to add.

Once it is live, anyone you invite can click on an element, leave a note, and Vynix attaches the technical context automatically. There is nothing else to configure to get started.

Do I need to add the script to every page?

No. Add it once to a shared template or layout, or the section before the closing body tag, and it loads across your whole site.

Will the widget slow down my site?
