Security and data handling in Vynix
Security is built into how Vynix captures and stores feedback. This page summarizes the controls that matter most to developers and security reviewers.
In transit and at rest
All traffic is encrypted in transit with modern TLS. Screenshots are encrypted at rest with authenticated encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and access tokens are cryptographically signed.
Every request is scoped to the right user, workspace and project, so annotation data is never shared across accounts.
Privacy by design
Diagnostics are metadata only. Console messages and network request URLs are reduced to origin and path, with no request bodies or headers captured. Read-only share links use unguessable identifiers and strip personal data.
